I have been in the field of sexuality education since 1999, when I was a youth work student in Tallinn University. Starting from peer to peer training, I have moved and professionalised, reaching different target groups like young people, parents, professionals in medicine, specialists working with young people. I have also cooperated with different international partners as an expert and a trainer in Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Georgia. Having a background in youth work, MA degree in educational management and currently finishing my second masters of ethnology and applied anthropology in Tartu University, I look at the field of sexuality from wide angle and approach to the topic from different layers. My second master thesis will be about sexual assertiveness of Estonian women, whose teenage years and young adult years were partly in Soviet Union and partly in independent Estonia. At the same time I am finishing my studies of sex coaching in Sexual Health Alliance, USA. Being a sex-positivity, diversity and pleasure enthusiast, I have my own podcast, Sekspositiiv. I also write on the sexuality and gender topics in different magazines and newspapers in Estonia to raise awareness and to bring sex positivity to many readers.
