Bridgett Khoury founded and created the School of Sexuality, an in-school comprehensive sex education program. With over ten years of experience working with families, children, and schools, Bridgett is an expert in creating safe environments that help young people explore themselves authentically and thrive socially. As an Arab/Latina mother of two, Bridgett has led with the knowledge that every person's multilayered identity creates a unique perspective and world experience. She made a program rooted in intersectional theory to help students in self-discovery. Sex education is more than a health class; it is an opportunity to learn about oneself, connect respectfully to others, and authentically express who we are to the outside world. Her innovative approach to sex education re-humanizes our conversations about intimacy with young people. Bridgett aims to engage students while meeting them where they are and takes inspiration from TikTok culture to create her video-based curriculum. She uses everything from puppets to music to costumes to capture young people's attention and break down barriers. While she isn't working on her sex education program, Bridgett is earning her dual master's in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. She gets the most joy from watching her children thrive in what they love; her oldest daughter does SFX makeup and Roller Derby, and her youngest loves to draw and is in the theater. Bridgett's favorite way to end her days is in the kitchen, cooking with her partner with a glass of wine.
